I got a call today from John Salazar with Time Warner Cable News. He had read Zeke MacCormack's piece about Kingsbury in the San Antonio Express-News and wanted to do a TV report. Bob Grafe and I met John in "downtown" Kingsbury by the tree and he miked us up. I think I jibber-jabbered a lot and looked awful. Bob is a silver-tongued devil that looked like a rock star! Just loaded up two new media pieces on Kingsbury incorporation and the "Liberty City" movement. The KIC met at the nice and warm (ha!) KVFD fire station Wednesday. We reviewed all the recent media activity, talked about mailers and signs, and went over the voters registration sheets for those in the proposed Kingsbury city limits. We decided to have another meeting soon to plan the communications to the voters.
