The Kingsbury VFD Annual Pancake Breakfast is coming up Saturday, the Wings & Wheels Spring Fly-In will be held at the Old Kingsbury Aerodrome on Saturday, the Kingsbury VFD and Auxiliary will meet this Thursday, Texas stuntman Robert Vandervoort performed his famed bicycle loop-the-loop for King Edward VII this week in 1903, there will be a group art show at the saloon on May 10th, another Farm To Table Feast will be on May 11th, there will be a felting workshop on May 12th, it's National Blueberry Pie Day and National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day this week, in Kingsbury news past the February 7, 1904 edition of the Houston Post11-year old Abbie May Dale of Kingsbury wrote to join the "Haps" and the price of eggs has gone way up to 25 cents per dozen, the month of May starts this week, May facts and folklore, the City Commission workshop and KIC-P2 meeting is this Wednesday, and a fabulous picture of the Kingsbury Lutheran church in its original location in 1892.

The Kingsbury Volunteer Fire Department was recognized at the Capital for their 50th anniversary, it's National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day and National Scrabble Day this week, The annual Kingsbury VFD Pancake Breakfast and the Wings & Wheels Spring Fly-In are coming up May 4th, the next Old Kingsbury Aerodrome Volunteer Work Day is Saturday, in Kingsbury news past the January 8, 1904 edition of the Houston Post reported that G.W. Smith of Kingsbury was a new attendee of the black Baptists convention in Houston and that there is good duck shooting on the bay near Houston, and a couple of wonderful pictures of the Kingsbury Owls girls basketball team around 1948.
