The Annual Summer Solstice Film Festival is coming up June 12th, the Kingsbury VFD Bar-B-Q is scheduled for July 31st, it's National Iced Tea Day and National Boone Day this week, vendors set up for the Kingsbury Market Day every Sunday in downtown, this week in Texas history in 1926 an historic Bar-B-Q celebration took place in Luling, this week in 1865 the Texas treasury was robbed and the loot never recovered, and an amazing picture of a group of local boys hanging out at the loading pens near the train depot around 1915.

The 90 Miles on 90 shopping event is coming up June 4-5, it's National Lucky Penny Day and National Taffy Day this week, everyone is gearing up for the Kingsbury VFD Bar-B-Q that is scheduled for the last Saturday in July, the Full Flower Super Blood Moon rises this week and moon facts and folklore, in Kingsbury news past the April 8, 1876 edition of the San Antonio Express reported that the Kingsbury stage came in early again and the apothecary has medicines and surgical instruments, information on the Blood Moon lunar eclipse this week, and a really great picture of Roland Merz and friends in his mule cart in downtown Kingsbury.

The Tax Day for Texas has been moved further due to the Freeze to June 15th this year, the Lyrid meteor shower starts this week, it's National Dolphin Day and National Grilled Cheese Day this week, the Texian forces are preparing to fight this week in 1836, the 1st Annual Downtown Kingsbury Classics, Truck & Tractor show is scheduled for April 24th, the Titanic hits an iceberg and sinks this week in 1912, the Spring Wings & Wheels Fly-In at the Old Kingsbury Aerodrome is scheduled for May 1st, Railway Street will be closed to through traffic on April 24th for the Classics, Truck & Tractor Show, the Kingsbury Market Days set up every Sunday in downtown Kingsbury, there is currently no outdoor burn ban for Guadalupe County, and an awesome picture of the inside of the Imhoff Saloon in the early 1900s.
